What we collect
We collect your email address, your name from Google if you sign in that way, your handle, the profile fields you fill in, an optional city, an avatar image if you upload one, your votes on polls, and the IP address and user agent of your sessions for security and rate limits.
Why
We use this information to sign you in, to run the community features such as your member card and polls, and to prevent abuse of the site.
Sharing
We use Resend to send email, Google for sign-in when you choose that option, and DigitalOcean to host the site. We do not sell your information.
Retention
We keep your information until you delete your account. Votes are anonymised when an account is deleted. Backups are kept for up to 30 days.
Your choices
You can edit your profile and delete your account from settings. You can also choose who can see your member card.
Cookies
The site uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in. It does not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Children
The community site is for people 18 or older.
